Centreville Theme Park is located on the Toronto Islands and it has been a staple in family fun for over 50 years.

With more than 30 rides and attractions and 14 food outlets, it makes the ultimate summer fun for the whole family. Not to mention that you will be surrounded by 600 acres of gorgeous parkland and don’t forget to visit the Far Enough Farm to see the farm animals on the island.

There is also lots to do like go one-on-one against life size, animated versions of today’s greatest goalies and shooters; call the play-by-play of some of hockey’s greatest goals; view hockey flicks like Stanley’s Game Seven; and explore the largest collection of hockey memorabilia in the world.

The Bata Shoe Museum is a unique Toronto attraction as it features footwear. It is located at 327 Bloor Street and it would excite the shoe fanatic in your family.

There you will find over a thousand shoes and related artefacts (from a collection of over 13,000) in architect Raymond Moriyama’s award-winning five-floor structure.

The Bata Shoe Museum celebrates the style and function of footwear in four impressive galleries. Footwear on display ranges from Chinese bound foot shoes to ancient Egyptian sandals to chestnut-crushing clogs and glamourous platforms. There are also over 4,500 years of history and a collection of 20th-century celebrity shoes are reflected in the semi-permanent exhibition, All About Shoes. The other three galleries feature changing exhibitions, so there is always something new and exciting to see!
